You Might Be:
-
A solopreneur with a new community, but constantly triaging your top priorities with no room to give your community the love it deserves.
-
A founder with an awesome VA, but they don’t know community strategy and neither do you.
-
Leading a seasoned team, each with their own priorities and objectives, but you don’t want to simply drop the community on someone’s plate who hasn’t done it before.
How It Works

Submit Your Job Description
When you submit your role and a $100 posting fee, we’ll post your job description to our directory of community managers, inviting them to apply.
We’ll share 2-3 recommendations
We’ll send a personalized recommendation with 2-3 community managers from our network who we recommend for your role (but anyone in our directory will be able to reach out to you to apply once the role is posted).
You Make Your Hire
When you make a hire through our network, you pay Ember the equivalent of one month of your new community manager's pay. Your $100 posting fee is pro-rated to this cost.
What You Get
Once your hire is made, your payment covers the cost of support for your community manager from Ember for 6 months. If your hire isn’t already certified with Ember, they’ll get access to our Fractionals Course, all of the resources available in the Ember community, and quarterly 1:1 check-ins with our team to ensure your success.
You don’t just get a community manager. You get a community manager with a team of strategists, our proven methods, and a community of builders behind their back to support them in this critical season for your community.

Bri Leever
Community Strategist + CEO at Ember

Meet Your Guides
While Bri got her start building and growing a brand community into a multi-million dollar revenue stream, Kristen was designing community health programs that served millions of people across the United States. Between the 2 of us, we've walked thousands of miles in community manager shoes and we can also tell you exactly what an employer needs to see and the skills you need to develop in order to grow a thriving community. The program we designed didn't come from a text book and or the sterile office of a corporate consultant. It was developed from years of work in the field, meeting with members, and building communities our employers only dreamed about. And now we're ready to pass it on to you.

Common concerns
(and why we got you)
I can't make the investment>>
Rather than charging a big upfront fee, outrageous recruiting fees that could be ongoing for years, we collect a one-time fee upon hiring your community manager equivalent to one month of pay. You can budget this fee into the cost of your new community manager.

I don't have the time >>
If you don't have time to hire someone, then you definitely don’t have time to manage the community yourself. Prioritize finding the right people now and watch your business grow without you in the driver’s seat.

I don't know what I'm looking for>>
That’s why we’re here. We’ll provide you with templated interview questions, guidelines, and a list of certified Ember Fractional CM with our stamp of approval.

How can I trust this person to lead my community?
Like any relationship, developing trust takes time. But with Ember, you can be confident knowing your community manager is coming in with a baseline of knowledge and a community of support at their side.
What Others Are Saying
"When we needed to hire to support our community, we didn't know what we didn't know. Being able to talk to someone experienced who could listen to our goals and then make a tailored recommendation was a huge head start!"
